Phoenix Pool Series 2007
Result Event 2: Saturday 26th May
Lincolnshire's Aidan Owens won Event 2 of the 2007 Phoenix Pool Series after
defeating Leicester's Gary Mitchell in the final of the 31 player tournament.
After big wins of Cambridge duo Dan Taylor and Richard Wharton the Lincs county
hitman eventually took the competition victory with the win over Gary. The
Leicester based player had defeated John Goddard and Darren Finch in his opening
matches.
With the likes of England international Neil Davey in attendance it proved to be
a huge win for Aidan in his debut at the Nottinghamshire venue.
