Premier Pool Tour 2008 

Phoenix Cue Sports has been award one of the events on a prestigious pool tour.

Details have been released for the 2008 Premier Pool Tour and entries are now being taken. At the time of writing more than half of the available places had been taken so quick entry is recommended to avoid disappointment.

The tour began in 2006 and has had two successful years in which time it is now established as one of the top tours in the country. With a prize fund of £6,500 and entry just £100 it proves fantastic value for money.

The tour is ran over four events followed by an end of season Grand Final for the top ranked players. Accordingly each event gives out ranking points determined on how far each player reaches. Events are played at Barnsley, Crewe, Manchester, Nottingham and back to Barnsley again for the Grand Final.

Event 1: February 23rd - Barnsley
Event 2: March 29th - Crewe
Event 3: May 17th - Manchester
Event 4: September 6th - Phoenix Cue Sports
Grand Final: November 15th - Barnsley

* No dates will clash with either IPA or major EPA events such as interleague finals, etc....

EXISTING tour members can enter by paying a £25 deposit to secure their place. Balance due by 26th January. NEW players wanting to join the tour should pay £100 full membership to join. Prize fund at each event: Winner £400, Runner-up £200, Semi-Finalists £100, Quarter-Finalists £50, Last 16 £25, Plate Winner £50, Plate Runner-up £25, Plate Semis £12.50

Note - Free plate event open only to players eliminated in Rounds one and two.

All matches in Rounds one and two played to best of 9 frames. Best of 11 frames in every round, including final, thereafter. WEPF World rules apply.
